Prisons are terrible places one can be in especially prisons of the mind. As humans, our mind is a very powerful tool that is responsible for our emotions and feelings, thoughts, and all mental phenomena. One of the many powerful prisons of the mind is INSECURITY.
Insecurity is a feeling of inadequacy and insufficiency in oneself, it keeps the person in a state of feeling of low self-esteem and inferiority complex. Insecurity is a personal prison that grows on the side of an individual, isolating the individual from healthy relationships and making him/her believe they are all alone. It is a feeling that isolates and hinders people from enjoying the blessing of relating and having loving people around us by keeping us bound with thoughts that are undeserving.
One very good way to deal with insecurities is a positive reaffirmation of your worth and how deserving you are of every good thing and beautiful thing that come your way. Gratitude, forgiveness, prayers, meditation, and mindfulness are important to man and should be deployed by everyone in accentuating our self-worth.
Any time such an inadequate feeling comes at you, get up and look at yourself in the mirror and say, “hey there look, you’re more than enough, you’re deserving (you can be specific) of every good thing you’ve got, you’re not alone cos you’ve got so many people rooting for you, you’re awesome and a rare breed. The best of you is yet to come but you are getting better on the journey to your life’s fulfillment. The great thing about this exercise is consistency, when you are consistently affirming yourself, over time your mind believes it, and your environment responds to your word. In no time you will begin to successfully walk your way out of every bit of insecurity. Finally, as you get your mind to attune to your new reality, learn to stay around positive people and keep pessimism and all negative energy far away.

We are all rooting for you. I hope you are rooting for yourself as well,
